Best movie so far - 2002?

None of the movies I can think of were really "great". There were a lot of good popcorn movies, but no real classics.

My thoughts exactly X-Man, some pretty good movies came out this year, but none moved me too much.

Hmm... no classics eh?

What about Black Hawk Down? *edit* or maybe that came out in 2001?

There's been quite a few good movies though.

Spider-Man
Attack of the Clones
We Were Soldiers
Panic Room
The Sum of All Fears
The Bourne Identity
Insomnia
Minority Report

...and many more.

oh yeah, spiderman and minority report came out this year 😉. liked 'em. still want to see insomnia, one hour photo, road to perdition, and undercover brother. thought panic room was really bland (aside from finch's fscked up camera tricks), thought signs had very 2-D characters, thought count of monte cristo was near comedic... maybe i'm tough to please, but i hate it when the director/writer/producer/etc treat the viewers like idiots just because they know they can get away with it.

Spiderman was definitely kickass...staying accurate to the comic really made it shine I think. I still can't get over how perfect the guy who played Mr. Jameson (editor of Daily Bugle) was...he had the character down pat.

That's more or less how I feel. There have been lots of movie's I've enjoyed. But nothing really great.
Attack of the Clones could win...it's got some really great stuff in it, but it's got some ultra crap in it to...

ST: Nemesis and of course LOTR:TTT have yet to be released, so there are those.

Was Black Hawk Down this year or 2001? It's quite good, and K19 was pretty good to.

Sum of all Fears wasn't too shabby. I enjoyed spiderman, but I wouldn't put it up for best movie category.

I dunno overall I can't really pick out any great movies.
ST: Nemesis and LOTR:TTT will change that though 😛
