The Sixth Sense. Only movie I've ever been to where then entire (full) theater all gasped in comprehension at the same moment. Was pretty cool.

Please the all time best ending is Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior everyone knows this.

Kinda agree there although what makes it a great ending is the greatest action-vehicle chase scene ever filmed IMHO that preceded it. I'll also have to chime in with Shawshank, " We're sorry to be losing your business sir, I hope you like living abroad.....Thanks, I'm sure I will!"

Crazy talk. Everybody knows the greatest action-vehicle chase scene ever filmed is the opening scene in Mad Max :).

Drive was a mind-numbingly boring movie. Ughh. Just awful.

The soundtrack made my soul cry.

Good one. I'll add Last of the Mohicans to the list. The music by itself puts it near the top of the list.

I love all of Last of the Mohicans, but the ending is one of my least favorite parts. The choreography with the father swinging that massive sword awkwardly against the Mohawks as they obviously tip over one by one is distractedly bad. Quite unfortunate because everything else about sequence is awesome. A better ending to this movie couldn't have been written.

For a movie that was not bad but nothing amazing, the ending was fantastic.

John Carpenter's The Thing
One of those great, kinda depressing horror movie endings because it's not a happy ending.
