I second the Razer Diamondback. The Razer Copperhead is even better because it has more DPI.

I used the Diamondback until the Copperhead was released. Now I use the Copperhead because of its increased precision.

By the way, the Habu looks very promising. It sure looks a lot like the Diamondback and Copperhear. Teaming up with Razer was a smart move by Microsoft.

Very true the G7 eats batteries at an incredible rate,So I switched back to the G5.

My G7 requires a swap about once a day during long gaming sessions, however the battery charger has a "boost" mode which speeds up the charge. I love it. It is also very light as someone else pointed out because of the small Li-Ion batteries.

When I originally started off my streak of Logitech mice, it was the MX700 cordless. Alright for gaming, I liked the button assortment on it. Later on for another machine, my parents and I picked up an MX610 cordless mouse. I hate that one. It is smooth laser mouse, but the buttons, especially the middle mouse wheel can stick sometimes. Also, the mousewheel has that tilt to the left and right crap (which I think is a feature present on the G5/G7).

Once I got my laptop, I ordered an MX518. Great mouse, same button selection as my old MX700 (back/foward, +/-, switch application, non-tilting middle wheel).
