Best Motherboards Brand?

HI !

i have no idea about motherboards, dunno which brand get.

Which is the best brand of motherboards?

tha specs: P4 3,2 G ,1G ram,Audigy 2 zs, radeon 9800/GF 6800.

if the boards are different for tha microprocessor, which is tha best for amd and , for intel?

Well dawg....tha best is....what's with that spelling? Anywho, there is no definitive best out there. For Intel I'd go with Asus, and for AMD you got Asus, MSI, Soltek, Epox.

Stay away from soyo if you need rebates, they suck with rebates, my chaintech vnf3-250 (athlon) is doing good for me.

There is definitely no definitive best brand.

there are however some good ones.

Asus, Tyan, DFI, Albatron, Soltek, Abit

I'm on Abit board number two (an NF7-S and IS7) and both have been flawless.

Hehe. No.. seriously, Tyan and Supermicro are some of the absolute best, or used to be, followed by Abit and Asus, and MSI and DFI (FIC too?) were usually alright. PCChips is generally to be avoided, ECS used to be decent like MSI, now they are part of PCChips, so who knows.
Soltek, Soyo, I have no idea.
