Aja!, What happends with the "Green Line Issue" of the Epox 7KXA (slot A), 8KTA (first socket A) and MVP4 (Super 7)????
This error caused a green line or reboot after showing the desktop on Win98SE. Acording to Epox FAQ, the problem is fixed deleting 2 files form MSBACKUP tape controller, mine fixed that way, but some guys were having the problem with Windows ME also.
So, acording to me, I set this lots of times, Epox test procedure was poor, at least with those mobos, they must tested with Win98 and assumed they would work ok also with Win98SE. I never forgive this to Epox, and that's wy I moved to ASUS since the late 2000. But of course, I'm buying seccond hand mobos since you can't buy an ASUS, you can look it in the shop window, but buying, is almost imposible.
