I am planning on replacing my motherboard. It will primarily get used in gaming. I don't need onboard sound or video. I do want to use pc2100 DDR RAM, and I want at least 3 DDR memory slots. The power supply that I have is a 340w Enlight(AMD reccomended). I don't have more than one hard drive so I wont be using RAID either. I plan to use an AMD Athlon XP processor i this(probably 1900 or 2000). I also want it to be under $100 street price. I don't ever plan to overclock my processor, so what is best for me? Please leave some input, links, and/or experiences! Thanks. Also, tell me if you need to know more about my uses for it if this is not enough.

Some boards I have been considering include the Shuttle AK31A, EpoX 8KHA, and the Abit KT266A. The motherboard must fit in my case too, which is the Enlight EN-72370AZ MEDIUM TOWER.

My vote is for the EPOX 8KHA+. You can grab it as a refurb at newegg for $59 shipped! I am using one now and it is the best mobo I have ever used, easy to set up, fast, good overclocker, and stable. Get one won't be dissapointed

Shuttle and EPOX are good PC board
and ABIT KR7A[KT266A] is the best OC board w/ KT266A.

So if you don't want to OC than stay with your K7S5A
buy XP2100+ and nice Video Card, then you can sell your
XP1500 and Geforce 2 GTS.
