I am currently using Intel® Core?2 Quad Processor Q9650 processor with DDR3 ram 1066 of 4 gb and ATI HD4870 Graphics card with motherboard DP45SG from intel.

But Its still slower than my other pc which is a HP Desktop with Core 2 Duo, 3 GB DDR2 ram and 256 Nvidia graphics card.

Can someone help me regarding what is the problem with my Quad core system.

Plz help.

Hard drives make a difference.

But if you want to overclock your quad, a Gigabyte P45 UD3R or P board is one of if not thee best Quad 775lga overclocking board out there. If you are not overclocking, any Asus will do you good.

WUT?

Asus 775 boards are good with dualies, the UD3R or P P45 is one of the best Quad overclocking boards. Most Asus P45 boards will get you 450fsb with a little help from the NB voltage vtt, & pll ...vcore too.. My old Maximus II formula was worthless beyond 479fsb which none-the-less is just as good; but 479 was killing the board. The R & P boards yawn at 500fsb...

Yeah, gotta know what it is that seems slow before recommending new hardware. Otherwise will probably be in the same boat...
