Question Best motherboard for a NAS with a Ryzen 5 5600X?

I have an ASRock B550M Steel Legend right now that seems to have a few dead SATA headers, since I can't get my hot-swap to work on a few ports on my case. I swapped out the hot swap cage (SilverStone sent a replacement) so I'm fairly sure it is the SATA headers.

That aside -- any suggestions for an inexpensive motherboard that will have 6 headers for hot swap drives? I run a few VMs and Docker containers (Plex) with Unraid, nothing terribly fancy.

A lot of motherboards disable certain SATA ports when certain M.2 slots are used.

For example, the board you mention disables the SATA 5 and 6 port when the M2_2 slot is in use.

Skip the mobo swap and just ad a six port hba for less than $50.

Can't you RMA the board? If it is a B550, it should be pretty new still.
