Exactly. And its surprising how myopic most of these highschool cowboys are. They feel exasperation for the first time, suffering the pain that comes from being powerless - and yes, my friends, despite what Papa Gimp says, the US is defenseless against guerilla warfare - and they want to obliterate the whole of the EAST.
And why do they feel this? Because people, whether justified in their action or not, feel the EXACT same exasperation from U.S foreign policy. Their powerlessness is easily channeled - LIKE YOURS IS - into a generalized hatred of the whole of the WEST.
See the parallel? It should, if anything comfort you, to know that this is an example of how SIMILAR we are with them, not how polarized we are. Let's be the wiser bunch, if that's what makes us so proud. Why retaliate and deal with it as they do? What has Sharon, with his eye-for-an-eye stance, been able to accomplish. Use it as a goddamn example.
It all boils down to this - America is the hunted for the FIRST time, and we just don't know how to deal with it!
