Best modular computer desk?

Hopefully this is the best place to post this.

Ok, the concept of 'best' means different things to different people, but I'm in the market for a new computer desk.

I spend a lot of time at mine (work, gaming, browsing, etc.) and ideally, I'd like out with an adjustable (in some form) keyboard drawer.

Having modular options helps as well.

So far, the only thing I've really found is Anthro desks, although they are quite expensive.

A lot of people like different styles like Hardwood, Formica, Steel, Glass top, pole for Video Mounts, etc. I found that lawyers often have some nice stuff. Beware of kits with 1,000 skrews.

It helps to know what will fit in your space, so use a tape measure. It also helps to be able to see and touch what you are buying.

Interesting. Where does the printer and speakers go? No Storage? I saw one photo under standard unit that had drawers mounted underneath. They may have some kind of 2 drawer units on wheels that will scoot under the tabletop. Looks expensive.

I think I would look around a bit. Maybe look at office-MAX.

Yeah, it IS expensive. It's supposed to be really good quality so while it's sparse/clean, it's industrial strength.

I'd need to get another "table" of theirs with a bottom shelf where I'd put the printer, scanner, server, and NAS device.

I do agree though that you'll have things like CD's, etc. but there is a closet in the office where I'll keep that stuff anyway as I don't need it in plain sight...

I just bought this one. I LOVE it! It's got room for all my gaming equipment. Lots of potential to customize your own layout with all these different levels and it's extra wide sliding keyboard / mouse tray.
