Check out USAF, USN and USA sites, they have excellent simulators, paid for by the taxpayer.
And if you are good enough, you get to go one on one aginat another real person who thinks they are better than you.😛

My son & I really enjoy Mircosoft Combat Sim 2, we have a blast taking turns in Quick Combat shooting down bombers. He likes the Zero & I perfer the P38.

I'd say the closest, with vehicles, will be Operation Flashpoint. Planes, tank, choppers, jeeps, etc. All with simulator type setup that brings even the R6 fans over. Sure, the lack of pistols is kinda nasty, but the large, outdoor landscapes are what you play for. Nothing like hiding in a bush, with an M21 and hitting a soldier about a half mile away.

Ghost Recon (and the associated expansion packs/games) would be really great if you don't want vehicles.

Nope. :frown: Release has been postponed to Q1/03. But yeah, it'll be great.
