Best Model of Foreman Grill

I've got a "champ"...its not big enough for a steak and can only do one burger at a time, in other words worked great in college but now that I'm an "adult" it just dont cut it anymore...well that and the fact i've had it for 5 years and the non-stick is starting to wear off.

Whats the next model worth moving up to?

I've got a knock off (can't remember the brand name) It actually works better than any real George Foreman I've ever had. Big enough to do 4-6 HUGE burgers on and it even has a three position thermostat. The hinges seem to be set a little taller than a Georege too, so it doesn't take as much effort to lock it. I only paid about $30-35 for it at Wallie World too. 😀

Just remembered the brand name. It's a Hamilton Beach.

my parents have one of those i think, aren't the channels a bit deeper and it seemed to leave higher intensity grill lines on whatever you cook?

Yeah, I believe so. Seems to channel more of the fat away. White with a sliding thermostat on the top?

ain't walmart great? their alternate brand food saver kicks ass too! I haven't tried the hamilton beach grill, but the george foreman "next grilleration" has removable grill plates, and it can be had for ~ $60. I got it on clearance @ walmart for $50. definitely worth it. easy to use and more importantly, easy to clean! and big enough for 3 big or maybe 4 small burgers
