What's the best mobo from all companies right now? (eg. fastest, performance, stability)

If you want a fast computer, DFI is the only route to take. I assume that from your characteristics, you want something for gaming? AMD is the path for that. But if you do more encoding/office work, go with Intel.

Anyhow, DFI is the best board company as far as speed and performance are concerned. It's fully tweakable, which may make it a bit intimidating at first, but it's not all that bad.

Yes this is going to be a gaming computer. I have all the parts except a fast mobo with lots of features and possibly OCing.

I ran with the Asus A8N-SLI Premium due to its Newbie favorable reviews... :) Putting the whole monster together now...

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum for the average user and those who want loads of features.
DFI Ultra D or SLI DR for serious overclockers.
