Hello everyone,
First time post.....long time lurker.
I'm about to build a new A64 3500 (939 90nm) rig and I'm going to put a PE card in it and me and some of my buddies were discussing the merits of whether or not to completely avoid NF3 or NF4 boards as some were saying that it would be a BAD idea to put in a board for a competitor's card to run on.
While I can see their point in saying that I just personally don't put too much stock into that.
But....it has made me stop to think about it and for that reason alone I wanted to know what some of you thought about what kind of board would be best paired up with the PE.
Is VIA an idea I should consider or does it really make any difference? I personally think the NF3 boards that are out are mature and stable. I can wait for NF4 too.
But yeah.....my curiousity is piqued. I want to be sure I pick a great mobo and I would love to see what some of you have to say on this matter!
Many thanks all.
