I can always send you the one I wrote. Gimme a list of features you need and maybe I'll throw something specific together. I was never a big fan of the pre-made scripts, often times they're outdated and sometimes server specific. Not to mention some coders like to stick in backdoors. So I spent hours teaching myself mIRC scripting, and it payed off. Fun too. 🙂 The old version of sphere was cool... had some DOS stuff that I never used but it looked neat. 🙂 For fserves, jedi all the way. 🙂 Sorry no links, sites are probably down by now but I can send 'em if you need 'em.
Impressive, lots of time went into that script. Going to involve lotsa tweaking but I think I might use this from now on.. once I get to add a few things to it. 🙂
Best script eh? Well (most) mIRC scripts are similar to linux distributions. It?s all in the taste of the user. They all have their strong points, and weak points... Personally I love ircN that?s why I idled in the channel, learned how to script while hanging around? ircN is more of a advanced script you really need to know how to use it. Its not flashy, just because we can script, doesn?t mean we can design graphics 😀 But it has A LOT to it? So much in fact, even though I?ve been using it for over a year and a half, and scripting a little bit for it I still find something new every once in awhile?
Sorry to say, that you can?t take the easy route and ask what?s the best is, your going to have to try them all for yourself 😀 I'm not going to say ircN is the best, but it sure is one of them...
open mirc.hlp, thats all you need... read other scripts... I would stay away from reading all-in-one scripts, they were probably tweaked beyond anyone's ability to read, I would check out addons, small single purpose scripts...
