Best mini-pci wireless card?

I'm tired of my Cisco PCMCIA card for a few reasons and would like to take advantage of the mini-pci slot in my Dell laptop to use for a wireless card. All I need at the moment is b/g capability. I did some looking on eBay but I am new to mini-pci and don't know if certain cards work for certain laptops or if it is a free for all like normal pci. What chipsets/models should I avoid?

As far as I know the Dell's dont limit whos mini-PCI card you stick in them (like Lenovo and HP do), though it's always best to search for compatibility info prior to buying something.

I prefer the Intel chipsets; 2915 or 3945 would be good places to start. I recommend spending the few extra bucks and picking up one that will do abg rather than just bg. no need to limit yourself for the sake of saving less than $5 (assuming an ebay purchase).

I do not agree with the abg comment, I have never seen an a-level network in my life, so paying for the off-chance you might encounter one someday is a waste of money.

I've ran into more than one A network.
