Best Mid-range card?

Hi,

Trying to build my first system of the 'value-gaming' genre.

Here's what I'm considering:

ATI OEM Sapphire ATI RADEON 9000 Atlantis PRO 128MB DDR DVI/TV-out is $97
ATI OEM RADEON 8500 LE 128MB DDR DVI/CRT/TV : $88

What's the better card? I would think the 9000PRO, so worth the extra 9 bucks?

The 4200 64MB is 110, is that worth considering? I really don't want to spend more than 100.

Thanks!

Seriously, after all the searching shopping i've done within the past 2 days. I'd have to say that the 4200 is by far worth the extra $20 bucks. If you want to see reviews, check out www.tomshardware.com Otherwise, i'd go with the 4200.

If you're going to spend less then $100, the get the 8500LE. Note: the clock on the 8500LE should be 250/250, if it's not, then keep looking around. The 8500LE should perform slightly better then the 9000Pro. Considering that the TI4200 is just $22 more then the 8500, I would go ahead and spend the extra money. The performance difference would be noticeable. Peace.

I'd save more dough and go for a 9500 Non Pro. It's alot more than the 8500, but the performance and DX9 support is worth it. I'd keep saving, but the 8500 is a great card.

Thanks. I currently am queued for a Chaintech Geforce4 4200 "GT20" 64MB Retail for $110. The 9500 is about $150, and my original budget was $100.
