Use project (although the charts are ugly).

This is a gantt chart, for those who don't know: Gantt

It'e useful for things like project management where you have several jobs that require completion seperately. You use it to find a critical path, ie if you need one section to start the next, and so on....
Only really useful for large projects or projects involving a team of developers.
