I thought the thread had something to do with Man Breasts until I read it again. Guess I should go to bed :p

Isn't it supposed to seem kind of spontaneous, why would you give away your speech at rehersal?

Oh yeah I thought of something. Be sure to put a hanky in your dominate hand pants pocket. You will need it when you start crying.

chrisms: i'm gonna be honest, i dont do weddings, never been to one, dont know anything about them, all i know is i was told to stand up at some point during the regersal dinner and give a speech or something about my bro the new wife and how great life will be...
jh:wtf...i have nothing to cry over...im just gonna make some jokes about how he used to beat me up then tell everyone how good his wifey is...lol

I'll be honest, I've never done a rehersal. But if you're going as far as doing the actual speech then I think you might as well just do the wedding.. what is the point?

Anyway just say something that relates to their relationship. How he used to build model airplanes all day before she came along or something like that. It's really simple and nobody expects much.

be serious....don't makem a bunch of jokes, and especially don't insult anyone or bring up any unsavory topics. basically wish them a lifetime of happiness and speak about how much you love your brother and his importance in your life. comment about his wife in a positive manner.

again, don't be an ass and make a big joke or try to get the spotlight on you....this is NOT your night.
