another vote for pearl jam. on average 25-27 songs a night... they give it all as well. I've seen metallica and tool, but to be perfectly honest, I could do without all the wankery on the sides.(and metallica's spinning stage) Nothing beats having the lights come on at the end of the night for yellow ledbetter, absolutely fantastic.

I would have loved to have seen zepplin or floyd though.

Best concert I ever went to was Lollapalooza 92... Holy crap, RHCP, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Ministry. All of them put on a heck of show.. Best part of it was that Pearl Jam was up an coming and was actually the opening band with RHCP headlining.. Can you believe that?

Ministry blew everyone away IMO.

RHCP - MUCH more fun @ a small venue (back then).

What's funnier is Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam opening for RHCP 🙂 (1991)

Sonic Youth, Dead Can Dance rank at the top of my list as far as performances go.

GWAR hands down. Most outragous, creepy, ridiculous, terrifiying, hilarious, and disgusting show I have ever seen in my life.

KT

Probably the most fun I've had at a show.

Best live performance I saw was Van Halen with David Lee Roth in 1984.
I saw them in 1982 and 1984, best two shows I've seen.

The Who in 1989 was also great. Best sound I've ever heard at a show.
