Best linux POP3/SMTP server?

Need opinions from people, what do you guys think is the best SMTP and/or POP3 server for Linux? I need SMTP and POP3 and want to dedicate some time to learning the best solution.

Input would be greatly appreciated!

You didn't specify is this for a business or personal use with a couple of friends. Free or $$.

Anyway for business Stalker Communigate Pro is awesome stalker.com ...free trial never expires just adds text at end of email until bought.

POP3? Our company has been using IMAP exclusively since 1998. IMAP is relatively new compared to POP3 as IMAP was introduced in 1997.

Sendmail is widely used, qmail seems to be quite popular these days as well

Postfix for SMTP and nothing for POP3, Cyrus-IMAPd all the way.

Sendmail is pretty buggy and insecure(probably because of it's wide use), that's the reason I switched to postfix.
