Best Linux distro for... IP masquerador?

I have a 486/33 box with 8MB of RAM that I'd like to turn into a IP masquerading box. I'm going to get a 400MB hard drive for it. What's the best distro for this purpose? I was considering Debian stable.

You could use the BSDs too

check it out probably just what you need...and its very small too, fits on a floppy disk even

does anybody know where to learn about this iptable ? it comes to replace ipchains and all i hear is that it fixes this and that, but i cant make it work ... i still make my 2.4.x kernel run a something-like ipchains, but i know thats not the best ... but even those howtos dont cover iptables ...
