best light for the GBA (besides the afterburner)

That looks somewhat like the Flood Light that I have. It works quite well. It's extremely bright but it is heavy and it eats batteries (I'd highly recommend rechargeables). I recently bought a GBA SP and IMO it looks quite a bit worse than the GBA with a Flood Light. The only reason I like the GBA SP better is because it's small and doesn't weigh nearly as much.

BTW, you can get the Flood Light just about anywhere. I got mine at Best Buy for $15 (I think).

I believe the floodlight is the best option other than afterburner.

However, it eats up batteries fast, makes it really heavy, and much larger. On top of all that, it doesn't do all that great of a job.. theres no way you can play it in the complete darkness still.

Do yourself a favor and buy the Gameboy Advance SP. Trust me, the light is worth the price difference alone. I don't know about everyone else, but I play with the light on 99% of the time as it still makes some visible difference no matter the lighting conditions.
