I just threw up a little.

Do we still say that, or do I somehow need to invoke the word basic to get my point across?

Miller 64 is absolutely disgusting. Do not drink.

Michelob Ultra (Original or Amber) is my go-to light beer. It isn't horrible, it isn't filling, and it is low calorie.

I have kept Sam Light in the fridge because it is one of those beers that very few beer drinkers won't enjoy, or at least find acceptable. It's kinda like what a macro should be.

I thought you were making this up.

What has this world come to, when no outlandish joke doesn't already have a real world counterpart? 😵

The only difference between light and regular beer is the ABV being .8% less. There's a scant 10 kcal difference too.

Yet, seven out of the top ten beers sold in the US are light. And 1 in 5 beers sold in the US are Bud Light. I don't get it.
Links would be nice.....

I don't remember the location of the original article, but this one will suffice. The data was derived from the below graph.

Budweiser ABV=5.0% calories=140
Bud Light ABV=4.2% calories=110

Some beers are quite a bit different though. Miller for example:

Miller High Life ABV = 5.5% calories = 156
Miller Light ABV = 4.2% calories = 96.

That's a big difference once you get 10 or so in you.

I'm not sure if it's considered a light beer but I like Modelo Especial. I'm also a fan of Bud Light when comes to easy drinking. By the pool, doing some camping or just hanging out on the patio with some friends. Bud does the job.

Drinking Session Ales lately like Sam Adams Rebel Rider Session IPA. Tired of all the calories and fullness.

If I want to drink to feel something it's straight top shelf liquor.

Drink less good beer.

this is what i try to do. most light beers, imo, are nasty.
my gf drinks yuengling light. i dont care for it, but i also dont really much like regulary yuengling. the black and tan is ok, and ill drink the regular if its all that is around but...id rather not.

mich ultra is the best to me, because it just tastes like water. which is why i cant bring myself to drink it, either.

guinness draught, fwiw, is 120 calories. i may have to get some of that since i havent tried it in a long while.

At one time Miller lite was fantastic, the overnight it went to crap. Ran into one of the Brewers that worked for Miller and he confirmed they had changed the formula big time.

Kirin lite then Yuengling gets my vote now, Modelo if it qualifies but I mostly drink bourbon these days unless Im on the water.

Funny local beers in the Caribbean such as "Piton" usually taste better in the lite form.

drink water, have a good beer on occasion.

If you have to drink piss, you might as well cut the calories completely and just drink water.
