best kt333 mobo?

A relative of mine is planning to buy one. He's interested in the KT333 chipset, but which mobo should he get? Stability and a good price are more important than performance. I couldn't find an article comparing the different KT333 mobos. Any suggestions (and/or links) will be appreciated. Thanks.

This board looks very impressive, and would be the one I'd probably buy if I were going to buy a Kt333 board.

The Abit board in the previous post looks interesting but a potential $199 price tag isn't too appealing, IMO anyway. Also if you don't have a USB mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner, whatever, then you're in trouble. Doesn't have any PS/2, parallel, serial ports.

I'd go with the MSI board in the above link.

i have been doing some reading since making this post....and now i think the nForce chipsets are good too. any suggestions on mobos for that? or why i shouldn't go for nforce? is there is difference b/w 420 and 415D other than on-board video?

I like the Abit AT7 personally. I know it's expensive but it comes with everything but the kitchen sink. And in a year or two you'll probably begin to see many more firewire and USB 2.0 devices out there. Unless you're using anything that needs PS/2, serial, or parallel ports this board is great.

I wouldn't go with the nForce if you play games a lot. You wouldn't end up using the on-board video because it's only a GF2MX. Your Radeon would be faster.

I like that MSI board and I also like the gigabyte Kt333 board with raid. I want to overclock and I havent seen any benches with the boards oc'ed. I just want to push my fsb to 166!

I like the Epox board when it comes to the KT333 chipset. Yes, the only difference between the 420 and 415 is onboard video. All three brands that make the NForce boards are good (MSI, Asus, and Abit). Pick the one that has the feature/price ratio that is most attractive to you. Also remember that if you want to get the most performance out of the NForce boards, you'll need to get two identical DIMMs of RAM.
