Lance Armstrong is hated outside of the US, especially after his steroid use.

they would have to know him to hate him...


but not really, if you go to South America, Asia, Africa, I doubt if very many people would know who he is, to be known worldwide you really would have to be popular in Soccer, hence Pele.

I never said he used steroids but most people who know him outside of the USA THINK he did.

yeah but none are know outside the cricket playing nations. I'm indian and I'd love for it to become a global sport, but right now, it cannot be considered that.

Really would have to be Pele. HE is known in every continent because of the popularity of soccer, Beckham might be close but i think his popularity is more Eurocentric.
