I can't believe this was 8 years ago. Holy shit time flies. I still remember tge exact setting when I read the story too.

I remember skipping this thread several times because it was too long. Finally I hunkered down one day in college. I was in the basement of our computer lab where I like to study hours at end. I figured I had a few minutes....

Great memories. Can't believe that was 8 years ago.

I included it in an essay I wrote in college (the topic was supposed to be on jokes). I don't think the prof was amused 😉.

Why do I keep clicking on this thread haha? I'm like hey, best joke ever, I'll click! Then it's better nate than lever 🙁

So I was around when this thread was posted, and many times when it was bumped (and I'm sure we all remember the reposting in many, many threads), but I never sat down and read the whole thing. I tried once but only made it like half way through.

But, today, 9/10/2013, I have read the joke in its entirety. Take that, Nate.

This was one of the first threads I read after coming out of the basement. I read the whole thing in one sitting.

But I already knew the punch line because I skimmed first 🙁
