Best Iwill KK266-R Bios?

Well, which one is the best? Im just using the one that came standard with the board when I got it though Ive been thinking of getting a newer one just need to know which ones are good and which ones to avoid Also, anything special I should be aware of when I update the BIOS?

Depends - if you plan on running the higher clocked AMD,s (1.4 or higher), try the most recent official BIOS from Iwill - I believe it's the 0515 version.

I use Luckydaze's 0426 BIOS (RAID version) which is a modified/tweaked version of the official BIOS. My Iwill KK266R runs nicely with this BIOS.

You need to read up on Iwill stuff at the Iwill forum in AMDMB.com. You'll find a bunch of threads (along with download links) discussing the merits of the other BIOS versions. From what I can tell, the preferred BIOS is either the 0307 or 0426 Luckydaze versions.

I've had real good results with a modded 05/15 bios on my board, which is a rev. 1.1 board. It gives you all the mem adjustments and also is supposed to fix the 686B and soundblaster live problems too. Definitely go to the AMDMB forums as they have a forum strictly on Iwill boards. Lots of help and links there.
