Nice one more reason why Opera is a very close #2 in my book compared to Firefox! Once the add-ons are there there will be nothing stopping Opera.

I run 3 browsers.

Chrome,Firefox and IE9 64bit Beta.

Firefox is my default but I often find myself just loading up chrome and reading.

IE9 just for testing GPU acceleration really.

Chrome I was never a fan of its basically built for speed rather then customising and add-ons.

End of the day its what you prefer so really no best browser.

FireFox for the addons

Chrome doesn't have a left pane bookmark list which I use a lot so that's a game stopper for me.

IE just annoys me for the lack of customization.

I've been a long, long time FireFox user.

I still use it daily and appreciate it immensely, but I've recently been hooked on Chrome. I don't care for a whole heck of a lot of customization, and Chrome's interface and speed is awesome.

Yeah I always been a Opera believer and now actually starting to use the browser a lot more! I can't believe after all these years trying Opera I haven't realized how awesome follower tabs feature is! No other browser has this. Yep your right the add-ons are coming around quite nicely! Supposedly easier to write than Firefox add-ons. Not sure how true that is.

The one feature that Opera has got right by a long margin is the next page and previous page buttons on the actual address bar! It works quite well compared to the add-on I tried once before in Firefox! Even on anandtech forums. There quite a few sites that I love being able to use this on without having to scroll all the web to the button just to go to the next page. Wow!

I used to use Firefox as my sole browser but tried the MSIE 9 Beta and was impressed. Now that the MSIE 9 Final has been released I was further impressed by it's big speed increase over MSIE 9 Beta. Well done Microsoft!

at the least, its a more secure opera/firefox/chrome downloader. even though i use opera/ firefox at work, IE always comes in handy when visiting sites that have quirks believe it or not.

I exclusively use IE on MS sites. It just seems to work better, and I don't want ActiveX on any of my other browsers.

FYI IE9 is only at the release candidate stage right now. The final version will probably be out within 2-3 months.

It was fairly easy to fix one site which wouldn't work. I had to use F12 Developer Tools and then select internet explorer 8. The website then worked perfectly, it's a once a day sort of thing so not too bad. Microsoft are definately going in the right direction because I have removed Firefox from my computer now.

All populare web browsers can fullfill your needs. So just pick one you find easier to work with.

From my experience, Opera is the best (fastest, best cache management, DragonFly for inspecting your web source, most innovative from the very beginning).

Pretty much this. I use Chrome as my personal browser, and Firefox for work. Firefox is much, MUCH slower than Chrome and the overall layout is larger. Chrome's omnibar is excellent, and something as simple as putting the tabs up where the title bar normally is saves a considerable amount of space.

The only reason I use Firefox for work is to check compatibility, and for FireBug and FireFTP.

I love Chrome. You can't beat the 6-week update cycle and incredible speed in comparison to some browsers (*Cough* Firefox with addons *cough*)

Firefox is not bloated.

It is the crap people put on it that makes it all bloated and slow. Chrome is not better from what I seen on a friends pc.

You may have a point firefox offers the most add ons to date out of any browser.
