Well I'm playing with opera now... and I'm wondering how I get rid of this collection of buttons on the left side of the screen. Other than that I think I like opera better than mozilla and IE

IE has that too. It can be docked or undocked. It's the only browser that supports being undocked though....

Edit: Click the purple arrow to open the quick reply.

Woah... that's some weird stuff. Oh and relating to the thread, I just opened up IE for the first time in a week to check out the floating quick reply. ;)

IE works the best. Clean and simple. Opera seemed way too busy when I tried it. And I couldnt get rid of the god awful menu on the side. Mozilla never did it for me either. IE is simple and efficient, still the best.

Couldn't get rid of the menu? Heh. :D

Hit the star icon (Hotlist) on the top bar.

Mozilla Firebird is the greatest - google search, tabs, password\form filling, not to mention that it is super-fast! Highly recommended!

Once you have Opera going for a month or two, it starts loading down with advertisements at the top and starts causing errors like crazy. Free best browser = MOzilla. Best purchased browser = Opera

there are a bajillion lame little browser variants, im sure you'll get at least 10 answers in this thread but i doubt anyone will tell you that this site still has the most functionality with IE.

Internet Explorer works fine for me. The only reason I use Mozilla is to test pages I am working on because IE doesn't always update them and it can be frusturating when it doesn't. Other then that, I use IE like 99% of the time while I am working in Windows.

If you want speed, go with Opera.

If you want pretty good speed, lots of plugins, but a bit buggy still, go with Firebird .6.

If you can handle the IE engine, but want tons of customizations and pref settings and options, with great plugins and skins, then download MyIE (slow server warning). Warning, tons of utilities, ad blocking stuff, content filter, lots to play with! :D

If you can handle the IE engine, but want something that people think is customizable but is really ghetto compared to myie, try avant or crazybrowser. ;)

<input type MozillaFirebird>

Stick that in your IE and smoke it -- oh wait, you can't. It would have crashed already.
