Best install order

Curious what everyone here thinks is the best order to install drivers and software onto their computer when they reformat/buy a new drive.

1. Install Windows
2. Install SP2
3. Install Chipset drivers
4. Install videeo drivers
5. Install Sound drivers
6. Install any other drivers is a particular device is not working properly.
7. Install all updates from Windows Update
8. Install security software
9. Install any other software and configure things to your needs and preferences.

ditto but I ussually move the windows updates to 3rd spot though.

1. OS (and possibly SATA drivers)
2. Chipset drivers.
3. Graphics Card.
4. Sound card + any other hardware.

If necessary I would put NIC drivers at #2 so I could initially download the latest drivers for the rest.

Edit: Oh yeah, security software and windows updates would go in the same order as mentioned above. (guess that makes all our lists pretty much the same)

To slipstream you just have to copy your windows disk onto your hdd then get full network install version of winxp sp2 from the ms website and then integrate and burn to cd?
