Best in-ear earphones for under $25

As the title suggests, I am looking for a cheap pair of in-ear type earphones to pair up with my phone. Due to me being in the UK, I'll take suggestions up to about $30 because of the exchange rates and stuff. Gives me a slightly broader area to look at.

The stock phones with the foam buds hurt my ears and provide little noise isolation which means I need to blast my ears off to block out some traffic noise if I'm traveling.

I typically listen to a broad variety of music and an internet radio station which is 100% chat, no music. I'm not expecting miracles or worlds of difference between audio quality, though if I can get a slight improvement for this kind of money

The main upgrade reason is the noise isolation element. The low budget reflects my financial situation and unfortunately I cannot pay $100 like I did several years back for my VModa Vibes, which died sadly 🙁

I would also like a J-type cord if possible but it's not a strict requirement. The J-cord types just seem to be much easier to deal with as far as cable management goes.

Any suggestions for this picky and severely budget hampered individual?

There's probably some current obscure Chinese earphone of the moment, but among the mass market brands I really like the JVC air cushions (RX66 and now RX67).

Checked on the FX-67's and came to find out that they are ~£17 and pretty good.

BUT...

I read a review and someone mentioned the Visang R01, Visang R02, Ecci PR100 and Ecci PR200.

Visang R01 - £22.45
Visang R02 - £25.68
Ecci PR100 - could not find
Ecci PR200 - £21.83

Above what I set my budget at but at ~$40 the Visang R02 looks like a decent go (looked at HeadFi Forums, evil I know).

i-Metals... couldn't find in the UK o on Ebay at a brief look.

Despite it being quite a way above and beyond my set budget I am probably going to pick up the ViSang R02's.

Whilst the JVC FX-67's look like a solid contender for my budget, extending it by a mere $12 equivalent (real prices) nets me a much better set of phones according to the Head Fi review list.

Bonus: I can get the ViSang R02's in the UK. I'm tempted by the R03's but they are about $50-55 Vs. ~$40 for the R02's.

Just ordered myself some Brainwavz ProAlpha IEM's. Outside of my budget but they looked like an awesome blend of price/performance that couldn't be passed up.

Thinking of also picking up some Comply Tx-400 foam tips to go with them. Never used foam tips and I've always struggled to get a good seal on my right ear so they might be just the ticket.

For foam tips, be aware that they do not last long and will need replacing regularly. Comply are pretty bad for this.
