I'm looking to get a new head unit for my car and I'd really like something with all of those features. The specific model I'm interested in right now is the AVIC-F90BT by Pioneer. Anybody have any experience with it and/or want to suggest something better?

The lowest price I could find on it was here:

Oh, thanks. I missed that since the first two I clicked on that appeared lower were the F500BT's, not the F90's.

Does everybody think the Pioneer is the best all around unit I can get for the price?

When I installed one in my car, I was initially looking at the Pioneer. As it turns out, the Pioneer can only either show the nav or play a disc as the navigation uses the disc for the maps. That was a dealbreaker for me as I want to play my mp3s off a dvd when using navigation. I ended up getting the DNX7100 from Kenwood that uses flash to store all the maps and loads them a lot quicker. Couldn't be happier since the GPS and audio is awesome.

That was with the older AVICS, the newer line by Pioneer has internal flash memory for the maps.

A New Class of Navigation
No more hassling with map discs. Now you don't have to worry about discs being misplaced, damaged, lost, or stolen because we've done away with them for the F-Series navigation line. We've taken the entire TeleAtlas Database that was previously on the two-DVD set, compressed it down, and stored it internally on flash memory.

I'll take a look at the Kenwood unit though.

Last I heard these AVIC F series units were a PITA and had lots of bugs. Checkout the AVIC411 forums before you buy one.

DNX7100 series is my personal favorite (worked at CarToys for a while and sold a whole bunch of them too).
