I was waiting for the Cosmos 2, but upon hearing it was going for 350, i went and bought a Coolermaster Storm Trooper for 150 instead. Forget about Haf X, Storm Trooper has all the features you could want, equivalent airflow, better styling, and much better portability and strength. (This thing is a tank) The included 6 speed fan controller works perfectly, at lowest setting this thing is quieter than my p183 v3.

There is a coolermaster Cosmos II on ebay for $240 right now.. FYI

TJ-11 is the best thing going. Not really any question about it. It's incredibly overpriced though compared to cases that are almost as good - 800D, TJ10B etc.

That Cosmo 2 will be great :) Have you chosen the PSU? Also what 10 HDs are you putting in here and are you starting with just a few at first because of current market prices?

I am deciding the PSW.

Probably a 1000 watt modular GOLD... it seems to be the best overall value for performance balance.

I like the looks of the ROSEWILL lightning 1000W on Newegg.

I also like the CORSAIR, OCZ, ThermalTake, and Coolermaster 1000watt modulars...

There is so many to look at... I am a bit confused which to get.

ANyone have a good one for under $200 they think is best?

Rosewill is Newegg's house brand. I'd probably go for a more established PSU manufacturer myself. But let's continue PSU talk in your PSU thread.

ok.

Staying on the subject of high end tower's then... anyone know if the powersupply length of cords matters?

I mean with a big high end case like the COSMOS II is a standard PSW going to reach around... and fit such a large case ???

Anyone know ?

A standard cable probably won't be long enough to reach from PSU to 8pin nor ATX on the mobo in the Cosmos 2.

You'll need extensions for both I would imagine.

Where do you get these?

Newegg might have some but for specialty parts you can try frozen CPU or Performance PCS. Also if your PSU is fully modular you should check out bitfenix sleeved power cables, they look slick.

ok thanks again !

The case does not release for a week or so... I probably won't have it after shipping until the end of the month.

I can't wait !

The Corsair 600t has a HDD cage that holds 6 HD's & it can be mounted in 2 places in the case. I'm not sure if it's possible, or if it is if you can even get another. But if you could pop in a 2nd cage and have 2 you could run 12 HD's. I love this case, good air flow and it's nice and big but not huuuuge. Overrall it's a sweet ass case. It's nowhere close to a Cosmo II imho, but it's like half the price. I'd LOVE to get a Cosmo II, but that on my desk with my 22" CRT might make my desk collapse. If there would even be room for both :D

hummm, now I need to go research if I can add a 2nd HDD cage to my case, I don't have any room for more HD's.

The Cosmos II ships with an 8-pin extension.
