Best Hard Drive ATA 100

Was looking at getting 45GB EIDE ULTRA ATA/100 LP DESKSTAR 7200RPM 75GXP from buy.com.....pretty cheap i think...I have heard that IBM is the one of the best from a reliability standpoint how about the speed? Anyone have this HD and ?..good bad...Great?

They're currently the fastest ATA100 7200rpm hard drive, but with new Maxtor and Seagate offerings on the horizon, I'd hold off a bit until then. IBM drives are very reliable, but then again so is Maxtor/Quantum.

Just in general, from my experience.........

Maxtor is cheap and good quality.
IBM is expensive and excellent quality.
Seagate is alright, but you won't find one in my computer.
Western digital is very bad. Where I work we replace 20 Western Digital drives to every 1 quantum/maxtor/IBM. And we don't even sell WD Drives.

Although I've read that some people have had problems with them, my favorite ATA100 drives are the 75GXP series from IBM.
