I'm not really good at PC parts, but what is better in being overclocked, not overclocked, gaming performance, etc... So here are my choices...

2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7970's
1x Galaxy GeForce GTX 780 HOF
1x AMD Radeon HD 7990

The 2x 7970s will give you overall the best performance IN GENERAL, especially when overclocked.

But, we need to know what games you play, other parts in your rig, and at what resolution to give you more info, about what would be best.

Well, I want to play Minecraft with SEUS Shaders, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Crysis, Far Cry, Cube World, and all the new games coming up. All at max settings. I'm also gonna play at 1920x1080 resolution.

Ok, what other parts would be in this rig though? For instance, make sure you have adequate PSU and are not CPU bottlenecked.

Still, OCed 7970s would be best.

An i7-4770k, asrock z87 oc formula, and I forgot what model my PSU is but its from corsair and 760w.

Oh, and will 2 7970's beat the Galaxy GTX 780 HOF? Because it beats down the titan when OCed...

sounds good.

I am not familiar with how much faster the particular HOF model is, but I think 2x7970s would beat any single GPU, provided a modern game with half-decent crossfire scaling.

7950's would also do this.

They do but I prefer a single card over multi gpu solutions, to each of their own.

What is better for an upgrade for a 1680x1050 monitor? A GTX 650Ti boost or a GTX 760? price difference is $60.

I see. thanks for that insight. I am thinking twice on the 760 as it is far costly than a 650Ti boost. The only thing that worries me is for future proofing as I may not but a card for the next 3 years again.

Don't bother about future proofing. There are already games out there which can make even Titan crawl.Buy what is the best within your budget.

Hmm, how much faster is a 7950/670 over a 760? I think the 760 still needs to be voodoo power rated :D

OP at 1080p unless you have a 120 hz monitor you are not going to need anything more powerful than HD 7970 / HD 7950 or GTX 670 / 770.

1080p a 7950/gtx760 would be a excellent starting point and either are great choices,gtx760 is faster out the gate but the amd card uses less power as well while also being bundled with 3 games so either choice is a sure win.

I am from the Philippines. Budget is around 8000php ($180) which is enough to acquire the GTX 650Ti boost edition. I am planning to get two of them for SLI or should I get just a 760 which costs around $300 here.

Price per performance is not an issue as I have already read some reviews about the SLI.

Coming from a guy who is probably going to make the same mistake as you guys are (That is to buy a GPU now),it may be worth waiting till October to see what AMD brings out.Sure, the 9970 or whatever the high-end model will be called is gonna be seriously expensive as well as seriously powerful, but a 9870 or something ought to be more than enough and quite cheaper too.Just food for thought.I'll 90% be buying Sapphire's Vapor-X 7970GE,so when I miss on performance I'll overclock the hell out of it.Also, maybe, just maybe,a 7990 is better than 2 7970s.Performance should be the same (It's like 2 7970s on a single PCB),but it should cost slightly less. There are always the gtx780 and Titan, but I am an AMD guy,so I won't comment on those. Can't in fact. :)
