Best graphics card for less than 275$

Can anyone recommand my a good video card for less than 275$?

I will be running it with an Athlon 64 and 1 gig of RAM.

I was looking at a some cards with the Radeon 9800 Pro chip and 128 Mb of RAM. Would one of these be a good buy?

in the hotdeals forum there is a post about a bfg 6800 oc for 250. Id say thats about the best you will get.

I kinda want to upgrade to a GT though. ;x

still not taking full advantage of my cpu :/

I agree with the above. Looks like the 6800 is your card.

Only get the EVGA 6800... then later just upgrade to a GT.

Well the A64 3200 is a pretty mid range system, getting a 9800pro will put it securely in the middle range, but with a 6800 you'll probably end up in the mid high ranges

Hopefully the OP was speaking of US$, though his choice of card in that price range makes me think he's talking CAN/AUS$.
