hmm...for that x1800 xt by saphhire? no...it's an oem product thus only carrying 1 or 2 years warranty from what i read

the evga 7900 gt on the other hand has a true lifetime warranty which allows you to do just about anything you want to it (other than physical damages)

if you're looking to buy retail version of the x1800 or x1900 series however, sapphire or powercolor (can't really remember), offer lifetime warranty

Also, I may need a new PSU with one of these. Currently I'm using a 450W 20-pin Flower but I have an Antec SP-350W w/ 24-pins. Will I need something new for a 7900GT?

XFX has transferable life-time warrenty, but does not warrenty for HSF changes. eVGA has a non-transferable life-time warrenty, but doe warranty for HSF changes. Also eVGA has a step program.

Powercolor's warranty is only on 1900 model cards though. And the 1900 ones are more than the 300 7900GT...?:\ or the 1800 one but that one wouldn't have that special lifetime warranty thing.

Right the thing is that the 470/137 one will more than likely OC to about the same as the more expensive one so getting the cheap one the right idea. No need to pay XFX OC something for you.

On the core clock I would expect you're right. However, I have to wonder if they use different memory chips for these models.

Your right I question that as well. Most are saying they come with some 1.4 stuff but seem to still OC to ~1650 ish. But again not many people are getting these "standard" clock cards their all getting the OC cards. Either way memory bandwidth doesn't seem to matter much. But we'll need more people to get these cards and see where they can OC to.
