Thx for the link. My current WowPad is slick enough, however, like I mentioned before, not too long after cleaning the mouse feet and the pad, the mouse feet kinda stick to the pad if I don't move the mouse for a few sec(I don't know why since my hand has no sticky stuff, eg lotion and stuff). So, if I want to move the mouse for just a few pixels, I usually miss it because I need to "push" it to get it going/unstuck again. Also, laser doens't like vibration. Therefore, because I need to "push" it a bit harder from the stuck position, the laser kinda bounces and the mouse pointer moves to an unexpected position. I hope you know what I mean.
Have you experienced this problem with the C4 pad?
Thanks
Sorry for the late response. I don't have this problem with my MX1000 althuogh I think a while back a lot of users had problems with the MX1000 which they attributed to the crappy logitech software. I haven't opened the setup cd that came with my mouse and I don't plan to. I'm using generic USB mouse drivers for my MX1000 and it works great.
This slight stick you are referring to I may be experiencing as well, though my mouse curosr doesn't jump randomly when I force it to move. They also sell the teflon feets at cshyde and I have tried some. With the feet on my mouse, using my C4 pad, my mouse can literally slide off the pad if i tap it.
I bought the AllSOP Metal mousepad. It is better. However, I don't mind making it slicker. Are the mouse feet durable from CS Hyde? They are pretty cheap for 25 of them. Please let me know.
It doesn't jump to a different place like an inch away. It just would jump a tiny bit. I think it is the laser technology that doesn't like to be bounced.
