Mostly agreed, I'd change the order and one game: Splinter Cell, Halo, Rallisport, NFL 2K3
 
I agree with all the games mentioned here, but I have to tell you that I am currently addicted to Tiger Woods 2003 on the XBOX. If you like golf, get this game.

Personally I absolutely detest mgs2 and ffx because i feel like they're trying to be a movie and, in mgs2 in particular, i find the story to be uncompelling, stupidly complicated, and unintelligent.

but that's just me.
 
PS2- The Mark of Kri..one of those under rated titles IMO. The fightitng style takes some getting used to but one you play for a while it is very fun.
 
Lots of good ones listed already...I'll add SSX Tricky (Xbox) to that list. Really, really fun game. Huge replay value.

Vice City (everybody likes but I think it's just ok)

NCAA Basketball 2k3 - also awesome on Live
Ghost Recon - on Live...see a trend? 😉

Capcom fighting games on Live should rock too...never not have someone to play against 😀

I haven't tried the keyboard mouse and I'm so retarded it didn't dawn on me until the moment I type this that my mouse/kb is usb and I could just plug it in and try 😕

I've been using just the dual-shock and it works good and RF2 provides a sensitivity adjustment for it. The weird thing is though, I 've been playing Halo for so long and using that X-box controller that now the PS2 dual-shock seems like the analog sticks are too close together 🙂
 
OMG i love ghost recon, i also kicked anyones ass on it. (thats right step up to the challenge of clan VGRD baby). But not enough people played it and servers generally sucked. Too bad xbox doesn't have mouse/keyboard. MS is evil ehehhee
