Best gamepad for Madden 2005 (PC)?

What is the best, reasonably priced gamepad for use with Madden 2005 (PC).

EA Sports website says the following (http://eatech.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/eate...m09MTgyJnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li=&p_topview=1), but googling doesn't produce very good reviews of any of the listed controllers.

I was initially thinking about getting a Sony PS2 dual shock II controller with a Super Dual Box adapter, but that links says no PS2 controller / adapter combos are compatible.

The one I have might not be what you are looking for, but my Saitek P880 was only $20 at circuitcity.

I've got the Saitek and I really like it. Basically just like a PS2 controller.
Works great for EA Sports games (Madden, MVP, NHL, etc.), as well as GTA, NFS and others.

i have the saitek p880 also. layout is sorta like a combo of the xbox and ps2 controllers. it has only 2 triggers, but 2 more face buttons also. overall ,the 2 extra face buttons arent a hassle or anything, but if you areused to the ps2 layout, it'll take a while(1 hour maybe) to get comftable with it. works great, just wis hi had gotten the saitek gamepad with shock.
