Best gamepad for emulation & pc games?

I've got a MS Sidewinder that works great for simple games with not that many controls. What would you guys recommend for more complex games?

Nah. I'd say get the logitech dual action joypad . . . it's basically a carbon copy of the ps2 pad, with a USB connection.

This is a review . . . by a mac gamer. He said that it works perfectly with all emulators, and I couldn't agree more.

I have the Logitech Wingman rumble pad. I HATE IT!!!!!

I love the controls and all, but it stops working after an hour or so, and i have to reconnect it to get it to work.

Could just be my controller though.

Oh, and get the non rumble pad. I havent played a game that support FFB yet.

Theres an Xbox Controller conversion to PC . I think you remove the breakaway cable from the Xbox Controller, use converter you purchase online, and its ready for use

Considering I LOVE the Xbox controller, I think it would probally be the best bet.

If you want wireless, get the Logitech Wingman Cordless, way better than the Saitek. I have one and it's great for playing SNES games from the couch.

I had those - the metal hole (for the joystick in the directional pad) actually made my thumb blister after approx. 30 mins. of gameplay . . ..
