Half-Life got my really serious into games, and i still love it. Planescape:Torment is really awesome as well, though my playing of it was put on hold when i realized i still had SOOOOO much game left. maybe i should dig it out....

Oh yeah, almost forgot - Half-Life, of course! I used to play it on my 21'' monitor at midnight when all the lights were out and the atmosphere was terrifying!!! When those "ceiling sucking-up things" got me totally unexpectedly, I had to turn the game off and breathe a bit because my heart rate was somewhere in 200's even.

I must say Ultima 7 and Serpent Isle have to be right up there... nothing since has come close!

Fallout was also an amazing RPG.

And does anyone remember the Ecstatica series? I used to scare myself witless playing those games!

and Metal Gear Solid was a classic.

Warning about Tribes 2: I just bought the game yesterday, and can't play online because it says my CD-key has already been registered! some lamer must have used a keygen or something. I have emailed sierra letting them know just how unhappy I am...

chances are greater that your copy was a return... its happened to a bunch of people already.

if you can hunt down their number, call them. in similar cases, they've been more than willing to set people up with new cd keys.

You go do that. It is one of my favorite games ever. Definently the best RPG I ever played.

Either Galaga or Galaxian... They both have their finer points.

I just played black and white for the first time, and it is a pretty cool game. I like playing it alot. I also thought that populus the beginning was a pretty good game, and same with all the command and conquer games.

Super Mario Brothers 1,2, and 3 for Nentendo !!!! I must have spent hundreds of hours playing these.
