The Medal of Honor games have some great music. I especially liked the music on Spearhead, though the game was suck.

Its impossible to get a 'right' answer to a question like this. Its like asking 'whats the best kind of music?' Everyone is going to have their own opinion

Some games that had some very fitting music:

Half-Life
Deus Ex
Unreal
Quake 1
Castlevania 4 and SOTN also had excellent soundtracks

Yes. Doom you fvcks.

If not Doom, then Quake II.

If not Quake II, then the original Medal of Honor.

I could name tons of great soundtracks. There is some great music in games including RtCW, MGS, most definitely the Final Fantasy series, Interstate 76, and other great American games. I'm not a big fan of Japanese games but the Metal Gear Solid has a superb soundtrack as does Final Fantasy VII and VIII.
