Dwell,
You da man! I got half the games you listed thus far. I bought some used at EBgames today.

Virtua Tennis looks good also.

Any others?...
Virtua Tennis is good. Duke Nuke'm and Doom are good in a nostolgic sort of way, I don't know if I would recommend them. All the Mario's are good but Yoshi's is the best. Here's all the games IGN gave a 9.0 or above to.

I really wanted to like it, but it's not very good. A lot of tackling and controlling possession for like 75% of the game,
outshooting the comp 25-5 and still losing 5-3. There is no "world cup" mode, only leagues (like k league, italian league,
club championship).

Plus korea has crap ratings and run about 1/3 as fast as the US players :disgust:

:)

Can anyone recommend the best GBA games for adults?

P.S. I like all types of games. But graphics are important to me as GBA games generally have pretty crappy graphics. Catelvania series looks neat. COmments?

What happens when you run out of battery power on the plane with the GBA SP? You can't pop in new AA. Is there an outlet on planes?? I haven't been on one in ages.

Damn, that sucks. They managed to squeeze in the K league? Cool.

Can you change the player settings? Yeah, they tend to waaaay underestimate Korean players. Well, not exactly underestimate, but their ratings are way too low to even hold a decent match.

I'll just stick with GC FIFA then. :) Thanks.

Actuallu there's a battery unit/big grip that give 20 hours extra battery life! :)

I bought it for $15 at ebgames.

It's a WIN/WIN. With this accessory, you get extended battery life up that wazoo and big grips so my big 6'4" hands won't cramp after 2 hours! :)

It's actually quite comfortable grips, plus more power reserve than I'll ever use while travelling between 2 continents!

It works like a charm! :)

BTW,
If you guys need to buy a magnifier for your GBA SP, get the Lynx one over the Pelican. (Magnifiers are great b/c they really add a couple inches to the screen size! :) )

Lynx's has a much bigger, thicker, higher quality lens than Pelican's. FOr maginification, I know the lens must be curved, but not enough to render the screen in an ineffective manner. Their lens has the "just right" factor.

The Pelican generally makes great products, but their SP magnifier is a turd. Cheap construction; small lens; it can damage the grooves on the SP screen; and lens is toooo curved--the screen appears very curved. I got a headache from it. :Q

BTW, with the Lynx lens, don't throw the box away. I had to return one b/c after using it the stress of the lens being pulled out caused hairline scratches on the lens. The 2nd Lynx lens does *not* have this problem after using and purposely stressing it to find hairline scrtaches. Rock solid so far.

BTW, SPlinter Cell is coming out this week for the SP, I believe.
