I think the title and summary say it all. I was leaning towards WSFTP but am not paying $300 for a FTP server. Any have success with BulletProof or FileZilla?

Thanks

Ya, I'm using that one now, but I don't like how I can't set up different user home directories, monitor the status, log, etc. Unless I'm totally missing something, it seems that BulletProof FTP Server has many more options.

FileZilla Server is excellent, but I've only used it for small numbers of users (<10), so I don't know how well it scales.

i have used serv-u, filezilla and guid for years. personally i like serv-u the best as it the easiest to set up and a product you pay for, therefore you get faster tech support.

I run Windows Server built in FTP services at work, and hate it. I pity anybody using this for a home server along with Windows Web services, and strongly recommend Bullet instead. Great product.

The only reason we're running Windows FTP services is because we need to share home FTP folders for various clients, which I've found to be difficult if not impossible with the other FTP programs. If it weren't for that, I'd be using Bullet.

I'm probably going to use G6. It has a lot of features plus can be run as a service. There was another I liked but the fact it didn't run as a service was a deal breaker.... Guild perhaps?

Thanks for everyone's input
