Best fried chicken?

I usually buy your traditional supermark whole roasted chicken. But if I were to buy fried chicken it would be popeyes, my local popeyes is decent, but most of the time they serve up really "dried" pieces which isn't quite tastefull. The BEST fried chicken I ever had was at a local Marie Calendar's which was served up with some garlic mashed potatoes and lotsa roasted vegies, YUMMAY!😀

Wish I had a choice, but KFC is all we have. I have to go 40 miles or more for Bojangles or Popeye's. KFC here is OK, too salty for my tastes.

KFC in strip and popcorn form are really good, I haven't had the greatest luck with other types of KFC chicken. Their sauce is the best.

Popeye's chicken is f***ing awesome.

If there are any privatly owned "soul food" places around they will be the best (especially if you like it spicy) otherwise Popeye's is the next best thing.

anyone in louisiana knows what i'm talking about 😀

I am from Louisiana and I don't know what you are talking about. Must be a Southern La. thing? I live in the Northern part of the state.

BTW, I like KFC, then Popeyes.

KFC by a long shot.

KFC = kentucky fried crap, has to be one of the most vile tasting places to eat on the planet, it has given me food poisoning twice! If i ever snap, KFC is going to be up there on the first places i make a stop at.

how do you know?

most people blame the wrong source for their food poisoning, as it can be delayed and the baddies have no taste or smell.

too many choices & privately owned local choices to make a poll... i'm surprised there were any votes for KFC in the first place. I think this is the first time I've heard any kind of praise for KFC.

This is because Bojangles is only in the South and all the other deprived people don't know any better.

I bet if you did a Best Burger joint, someone would mention McDonalds <cringe>
