Best Free VNC Client/Server?

Just wondering what the AT community feels about VNC software. What's the best free client and server program out there? I've heard of TightVNC, RealVNC, UltraVNC, Chicken of the VNC- #_#

Currently I'm using TightVNC for hosting connections and Chicken of the VNC (OS X) to access it.

Kind of monotonous isn't it?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
