Netzero is alright. You get 40 hours per month for free. Ad banners are a little large. I got rid of them and went with AT&T for $4.99 per month for unlimited usage.
My favorite isp is when you illigally slurp bandwidth out of the local cable company. All i did was cut a few wires, reattach some others, and BOOM instant, free broadband at amazing speeds. 😉
<< don't they have banners?! I hate that. So distracting. >>
Are you talking about Netzero or AT&T? Netzero has a huge banner. That's why I got rid of them. On my 21" monitor I bet it took up 3 inches all the way across my screen. Plus the pop ups are almost continuous! AT&T has very banner about 1 inch tall by 4 inches wide on my 21 inch monitor. And they do have adds that pop up next to their banner but they are only a couple inches square and they can be closed out. That is definitly worth a couple bucks a month.
I use nocharge.com and juno. I don't if either is available in your area. Also, I would suggest having two just in case you use up the total "free" time or one is down.
