I recently bought a frozencpu.com PMW fan controller to try to control the jet engine known as my Vantec Tornado. However, after setting everything up, nothing has changed! I'm wondering if it's the fan, the controller, or whether I'm just completely retarded and can't put the correct male connectors to the correct female receptors. What fan controllers work for your Tornado 92mm??

I would say any 12V compatible fan controller. The Nexus 305 comes with 2 cold cathode lights, so it makes a good combination. If you don't want CC lights, I would go for the standard vantec nexus fan controller.

Be sure that you haven't connected your fan to both your controller AND your PSU cable as this would void the function of your fan controller!

try to see if your PSU has a power fan plug, if so plug the tornado on the PSU then the controller.

Already did that, doesn't work :p...the problem isn't starting the fan, so much as getting the rpms down :(

I know that, but some psu have fan power plugs, and for the tornado you need to plug it in so that when you use your controller you can lower the RPMs down
